Laguna Revo 12/16 Outboard Turning Expansion Set
The Laguna Revo 12/16 Midi-lathe features forward and reverse spindle rotation, as well as an M30 x 3.5 thread over the bed and a 1”x 8TPI outboard spindle thread, that allows the user to turn on both sides of the lathe.With this Outboard Turning Expansion set the turner can choose to extend the center to center capacity by 254mm (10") or outfit their lathe for outboard turning. The high-torque motor controller will allow woodturners to freely turn up to a 405mm (16”) work-piece without stalling or bogging down the spindle.
The expansion set consists of 3 parts: the 254mm (10”) cast iron extension that can mount Right or Left side; the Tool-Rest extender for outboard turning use; and an adaptor (1" x 8TPI to M30 x 3.5) that allows chucks with either Left or Right handed threads to be used outboard.*NB: Lathe and other accessories shown for illustrative purposes only, not included.
